Wolverine
Created by Len Wein, Wolverine first appeared in the last panel of The Incredible Hulk#180
Born James Howlett aka Logan…., he is a mutant who possesses keen animal senses, with both natural and artificial modifications, his physical capabilities have been magnified beyond belief and on each hand he has three retractable claws that can cut through almost anything, except adamantium itself and Captain America’s Sheild. With the ability to heal himself from nearly any wound, toxin or decease like nothing before, which by the way, the healing slows down his aging process therefore enabling him to live beyond the human races life span. His power to heal himself enabled the supersoldier program Weapon X to bond the near indestructible metal alloy adamantium to his skeleton and claws, but he is not immune from feeling pain.
He has travelled around the globe and is fluent in many different languages; Japanese, English, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese the list goes on. Wolverines well cultured life has lead him to be experienced in most martial arts.
With both the healing and high level psionic shields implanted by Professor Xavier, Wolverine is resilient to telepathic assault, so the psychic Emma Frost has no hope.
