It has been argued that Batman is merely that – a man in a bat suit who tussles with criminals in the middle of the night. People forget that this is a man who has stood up to, and wounded, a god. This is a man who went toe to toe with Superman and won – hell, this is a man who has went toe to toe with alternate version of himself and the Justice League and held his own, who was called ‘the most dangerous man on earth’ by Superman himself. Batman is more than just a man – he is the pinnacle of what a man can be. He has beaten insanity by creating a backup personality, he has prevailed in situations where superhumans with ten times his strength and endurance have failed, and he has done all of this to serve a vow that he made to his parents one night in an alleyway, crouched over their broken bodies.
Batman is more than just a man. Batman is an ideal – a symbol, a synonym for justice, a man who walks with kings and keeps the common touch. In a world where most superheroes have to be born on another planet, to be blessed with power rings or magical abilities, or to be chosen by the gods, Batman gives us all someone that we can relate to.
He is more than just a man.

Ummmm…anytime you take a number and add the digits down to the base of one digit, it always comes to nine. Getting to 2 (B), then makes most people think of the Bat-man. Hope very few people are fans of the Blue Beetle!!!
