First Reviews Say ‘Wonder Woman’ is Best DCEU Movie Yet
May 31, 2017 By Brett Jett
So Wonder Woman is out in cinemas from tomorrow in the UK and Friday in the US. It’s already released in China, Hong Kong and others but the big blockbusters sales are due to come from the US over the coming weekend.
Wonder Woman premiered in Los Angeles on May 25th and reviews for the DC Extended Universe’s (DCEU) 4th movie are in and it says that DC may have finally cracked it with the first heroine solo movie ever, rating pretty high with critics. I haven’t personally seen it yet, don’t worry it’s on my to do list over the next week, however it’s been said to have a familiar feel to it as ‘The Superman Movie’ from way back in the 80’s.
With the first part of the film focusing on Diana’s childhood, the romance between Diana and Steve, played by Chris Pine, is said to be very similar to the comics and holds the film together. A mention of a bit of disappointing CGI effects has been mentioned towards the end of the film but the feel and excitement of it is being praised by everyone.
A spoiler free review will be on our site with more details in the next week or so. For now go see it in cinemas, with friends, family, dates, your kids and let us know your thoughts on any of our post on the site or on our Facebook or Twitter
